#PinkFootball Thank God for Ronaldo
So on Sunday, Manchester United played and Pogba scored. Even though l'usband has tried to explain to me over and over that since Pogba is NOT a striker he wasnt bought to score goals, but i think some of the banter does get to you and you start to wonder why your very expensive players can't get you back to top three.
Yes i am a Manchester United fan. I remember once crying so much when Manchester United lost a champions league game, and being so distraught that i could not even eat and i even had palpitations and i swore i was done with football and being a fan.
That did not last long. I have jerseys, i follow everyone on social media and sometimes during a game, i kneel in front of the television urging my players on.
So Pogba scored and Man U won,
The 6th position.
Like what the actual frag?!
I feel sorry for some players like Ibrahimovic and i'm always like De Gea 'pele'.
I do not know who we have offended but an unbeaten run full of draws, monumental losses to Chelsea and other clubs and just a general continued descent from glory has left me a sad fan.
Then of course Falcao has to win the Ligue 1 with Monaco and he must be feeling like, thank God i jumped ship sharp!
And my French team Olympique De Marseille has not completely returned to glory days yet so ladies and gentlemen... THANK GOD FOR RONALDO.
Because
1. i love that man
and 2. Real is my reserve club. I support Real in all games in Europe and Spain and i am so excited that yesterday, Ronaldo and Benzema sealed things for them.
Congratulations to Real Madrid and heyyyyy Ronaldo! Call me.

Why I think Iceland Should Win the Euros 2016
Iceland the underdog team, winning the tournament? It would be bigger than the story of Leicester winning the English Premier League.
Lol. I am of course now fascinated by Iceand. a nation with the population of over 300000 only. That is like the size of a village in Nigeria o, and almost a hundred thousand fewer people than follow Ronaldo on twitter!
- They are so non-violent, that they do not have an army, navy or air force, plus their police do not carry guns.
- Their national sport is handball. And yes, this country, whose national sport is handball, held a Portugal side with Cristiano Ronaldo playing, to a draw! They have shown great heart.
- Get this- they qualified for their first ever World Cup in 2014, becoming the smallest ever nation to do that.
- Despite their non-violent disposition, one of the most violent characters from the popular Game of Thrones Series is from Iceland. Yup- The Mountain, whose real name is: Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson .

He even made a funny Youtube video, where he threatened, (in jest of course) to remove Ronaldo's head if he scored against his team.
- As for football, experts say because they were not used to football at that level, they did not know all the diving gimmicks and other theatrics. Which means they played clean. Another achievement in my books!

You can see why i am rooting for this peace loving, honest and pure people. I think it is time i visit Iceland myself, who wants to come along?

#PinkFootball My highlights from Man U .v. Liverpool
Let me start by conceding this truth- Benteke's goal was goal of the game.
But he's not a red devil so, moving on.
My first highlight is Daley Blind. Not just his goal nor his save but the sum of all. When a player scores, plays and even keeps, then he deserves Man of the Match.
Martial (not Marshall dear Nigerians) is of course, a big highlight. I mean, they buy you, the press slays you, you come in as a substitute to applause, then you dribble three grown men like #IzNoring and score a goal. On your frigging debut!
I love how he celebrated with the fans first then gave Young (who passed to him) a bear hug.
Erm, anyone else think he looks like dude from 'Everybody Hates Chris'?
And my final highlight is United's first goal which came from a free kick that had obviously been practised in training and created by Van Gaal. It involved a bit of deception, some blocking (Schweinsteiger) and then a blinding kick.
There you have it. My highlights from Man Utd .v. Liverpool.
What are yours?
P.s, thanks for staying De Gea
